| 1887 | Born in Pietrelcina (Benevento) Italy, May 25. |

| 1903 | To Morcone (Benevento) to become Capuchin novice. |
| 1904 | Takes his simple vows. |
| 1907 | Takes his solemn vows and begins studying theology at Serracapriola (Foggia). |
| 1910 | Ordained as a priest in the canonical chapel of Benevento and conducts his first Mass at Pietrelcina. First signs of Stigmata appear. |
| 1911 | Sent to Venafro, but almost always confined to bed due to illness. Extraordinary things begin to happen. |
| 1915 | Absent from convent due to illness, but retains Capuchin habit. Called up to the Army in November. |
| 1916 | At the convent of Sant Anna in Foggia |
| 1918 | Dispensed from Army on grounds of illness. Transverberation, August 5-7. Stigmatization, September 20. |
| 1919 | Undergoes medical examinations of his Stigmata by Dr. Luigi Romanelli and others. |
