Expressions of Prayer: Three Ways to Raise Your Heart to God
Date/Time
Date(s) - May 08, 2024
9:30 am - 3:15 pm
All prayer is a raising of the heart to God, but every believer responds to God’s invitation differently, so this raising of the heart can be expressed in many ways. Christian tradition has particularly recognized three primary expressions of prayer: vocal prayer, meditation, and contemplation (CCC 2699). Join us on this Day of Renewal with Father Pio Mandato, FMHJ as we explore these three ways to encounter God and pursue a relationship of love with Him in prayer. There is no cost to attend this retreat; however, it is a ticketed event. Click HERE to register. Bring your own packed lunch or pre-order and pre-pay $17.00 for a boxed lunch when registering for your ticket on-line. Deadline to order lunch is May 1st at 5:00 PM. Deadline for free, general admission tickets is May 5 at 5:00 PM. *PLEASE NOTE: If you do not preorder lunch, you will not be able to order lunch on the day of the event. Bus groups welcome!
