Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Soccorso with Mass and an outdoor procession. The church of Santa Maria del Soccorso is a traditional old village community church in the city of Castelfranci in the province of Avellino, Italy, in the region of Campania. The earliest chapel dates to the 15th century and was enlarged in the second half of the 18th century. The statue of Our Lady of Soccorso, located in the rear of the Spirituality Centre is housed at the National Centre for Padre Pio on behalf of the Soccorso Society. The statue was once located at Saint Michael of the Saints Parish in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. The parish closed in 1982.
