During these nine days of prayer, we will seek the intercession of Pope Saint John Paul II for healing in all the areas of our lives that need it the most.  If you are joining us in person, don’t forget to visit the Museum of the National Centre for Padre Pio to view the permanent exhibit of Pope Saint John Paul II.  Below the Choir Loft are displayed a Chalice, a gift of Pope Saint John Paul II to the Centre, and the Pallium which he wore during the Beatification of Padre Pio in 1999.  It was for the Beatification of Padre Pio that the late Mrs. Vera Calandra was invited to Rome to offer the first reading during Mass.  View various photos of Mrs. Calandra at the Beatification Ceremony and at Mass in the Pope’s private Chapel.  Enjoy various works of art commissioned over the years of the beloved Pontiff, as well.  If you can’t make it to the National Centre to participate in the novena, pray along with us via livestream on Facebook or YouTube.
